Culture Plates for Flexcell's® Tension and Tissue Train® Systems

24-well HT BioFlex® Culture Plates

24-well flexible silicone elastomer bottomed culture plates with microplate reader compatible size, optically clear for direct viewing of cells with inverted or upright microscopes.
Available with white frame for bioluminescence measurements or with black frame for fluorescence tests.

Please note: The use of the 24-well HT BioFlex® culture plates requires the 24-well HT Baseplate Kit.

6-well BioFlex® Culture Plates

Flexible bottom culture plate used with BioFlex® Loading Stations for providing equibiaxial strain to cells in monolayer culture.

Please note: BioFlex® Loading Stations™ are part of Flexcell's® Tension system, but are also available separately.

6-well Tissue Train® Culture Plates

Flexible bottomed culture plate used with Arctangle™ Loading Stations and Trough Loaders™ to apply uniaxial strain to linear 3D cell-seeded gel constructs.
The plates are available with either CEREX® (a non-woven nylon mesh) or with foam (open-cell porous) anchor stems. The anchor material has not been found to effect the compaction kinetics of the collagen gel. However, the foam anchor stems allow for increased construct survival time as measured by time to construct failure/detachment from the anchors.

Please note: Tissue Train® system includes Arctangle® Loading Stations™ and Trough Loaders™, but these accessories are also available separately.

6-well Tissue Train® Circular Foam
Culture Plates

Flexible bottomed culture plate used with BioFlex® Loading Stations™ for providing biaxial strain to circular 3D cell-seeded gel constructs (no Trough Loaders™ or other molds required).
The plates have a matrix-bonded foam circular anchor for improved cell attachement.

Please note: BioFlex® Loading Stations™ are compoments of the Tension system, but are also available separately.

6-well UniFlex® Culture Plates

Flexible bottomed culture plate used with Arctangle® Loading Stations™ to provide uniaxial strain to cells in monolayer culture.

Please note: Tissue Train® system includes Arctangle® Loading Stations™, but they are also available separately.

Culture Plates for Flexcell's® Compression System

6-well BioPress™ Culture Plates

Culture plate for use with the Compression system.
Each well contains an acrylic piston used with a stationary platen (supplied with the Compression system, not included with the culture plates) to deform 3D tissue samples or cell seeded constructs using the Compression system.
The ring foam holders keep samples confined to central region of each well.

Membranes and Culture Slips® for Flexcell's®
Fluid Shear Stress Systems and Microscopy Devices

NEW! CellSoft™

  • Soft substrate culture
  • Soft silicone elastomer coated culture dish
  • Moduli ranges from 1 - 80 kPa
  • Ideal for passaging cell lines for expansion
  • 100 mm round culture dish
  • Total growth surface area = 57 cm²
  • Optically clear for direct viewing of cells with inverted or upright microscopes (membrane thickness: 1000 µ)

Culture Slips®

Surface treated slides with low autofluorescence for use with Streamer® and FlexFlow™.

StageFlexer® Membranes

Round, flexible silicone rubber membranes used as a flexible growth surface for StageFlexer®, Inverted StageFlexer I®, StageFlexer Jr® and FlexFlow™ devices. Clear for direct viewing of cells optically.

StagePresser™ Membranes

Round flexible silicone rubber membranes used as a flexible growth surface for the StagePresser™.
Each membrane contains an acrylic piston which is compressed against a stationary platen on the StagePresser™ device to deform 3D tissue samples or cell-seeded constructs. Ring foam holders keep samples confined to central region of each membrane.
